Step 2: Recover Yahoo Password with Phone Number

It is perhaps one of the most preferred ways to recover Yahoo password. The steps involved are as follows:-

• In your browser, log into the Yahoo Sign-in helper page.
  
• Type in the Yahoo mail address, alternate email address or recover phone number.
  
• Enter the CAPTCHA code.
  
• Provide the phone number in the new page.
  
• You will be directed to a new page, where you have to click “Yes- Text me an Account Key.”
  
• The Account Key will be texted to you via SMS.
  
• Now you will be required to enter the password in the text box. Click Continue to save the password.
